Ozone is a gas that derives from the transformation of oxygen (O2) through a procedure similar to what happens in nature when lightning passes through the air and produces ozone (O3). The oxygen-ozone (O2-O3) combination introduced into the body with appropriate methods activates the cells of the tissues penetrated by the gas, promoting regeneration processes and stimulating the immune system. For this reason, oxygen-ozone therapy helps in the recovery of inflammatory and chronic degenerative conditions.

Oxygen-ozone therapy or ozone therapy is a completely natural treatment, its effectiveness in a wide range of pathologies is clinically and scientifically proven.

It is based on the use of a mixture of oxygen and ozone, which can be administered in different ways:


  • Autohemotherapy (blood is drawn and mixed with gas, then re-injected into the patient's muscle)
  • Injections (ozone is injected under the skin, or in the muscle, or in the  joints or intervertebral discs)
  • Bagging (consists in wrapping the extremity of a limb affected by a skin lesion, directly in a bag which will then be filled with gas in variable concentration depending on the type of lesion). It is used in disc herniation therpay by injecting  ozone in the spine. Duration of treatment is 5-10 minutes and is generally well tolerated. This type of therapy has many advantages,  causes no  allergic reactions or possible toxicities and has no interactions with drugs.
